It’s been a beautiful summer of love so far, we’ve had everything that we could ever hope for, lots of sunshine and plenty of dry weather. It’s safe to say that summer is one of the most popular seasons to get married.

First things first, know that you don’t have to do all the planing yourself, it can be easy to get swept away in the romance of planning all the finer details, of having control, but quickly the stress sets in and it becomes hard to manage everything.

The summer season is a busy time for any wedding planner and florist and for David there is no exception. It also coincides with award season and this year David is delighted to be shortlisted for Wedding Planner of the Year and Wedding Florist of the Year.

The first thing that comes to mind for Spring is the return of a firm favourite – pastel colours. It’s time to banish the dreary feeling of a long winter and insert some beautiful shades of pale blues, greens or pinks. It’s the perfect colour to lift spirits and looks suits all skin tones, even those who haven’t seen sunshine in a while!
